Hi Everyone,

I am at the point of my L-4 build to start putting the engine on. The engine I have is a C85-12 conversion form a C75 with new Superior Cylinders. See pictures on my photo site. I would like to keep the OEM look an see the Univair has the OEM looking stamped exhaust stacks.

I talked to them and they told me the stacks would fit without the accessories, which I am not putting on but the engine does have the -12 case stalled. They also said with a C85 the stacks will run hotter and will crank sooner do to propeller vibration because they are only build for the A65. I also now about the oil screen issue too.

So my question is .... Does anyone have any experience with the Univair stamped exhaust stacks on a C85 engine?
