ELT mounting options

I'm thinking about buying a new ELT since my current one is a EBC 102 from 1968. Tests fine but the 4 housing screws holes that hold the backing plate on are stripped so it's currently being held on with 2 screws and tape while it sits in it's mount.

I'm curious what ELT's are most people running and where they have them mounted ?

How does everyone else have their antenna's mounted ? Internal or external ?
