I'm still Cub hunting. I will be operating from a 2400 ft grass strip in coastal Georgia. The ideal plane would be mostly stock with a C85 or maybe even 90. Asking prices for such seem to be around the mid 30's for planes that need airframe restoration with mid time engines. But.. I came across a recently restored showpiece of a 65 for the same price. Don from "Dons Dream Machines"(what a cool guy) quoted me 14k for an exchange on one of his 85's. I'm considering purchasing and adding power later, vs getting into a beater project with 85 engine already attached. Please advise. Thanks, Albert
