I am having a hard time starting my Cub. Has a C85-12 with Slick mags. I pull it thru 4-6 times, do not prime, crack the throttle 1/8 inch or so. Mags on. It starts first time, runs for about 10 seconds and stops. From then on, it never fires. I've tried acting like it is flooded (pull it backwards w/ mags off 10 times) - no start. I have been able to have someone else hand prop it with the throttle open more than half way and I pull the throttle to idle once it starts. it starts easily this way but that would be more than 2000 rpm doing it by myself - which I am not willing to do.

The plane is just out of annual with cleaned and gapped plugs, proper mag timing, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Craig
