I have all of the Army manuals showing the installation of the BC-659 radio and AV-29 antenna but would really like to see some up close detailed pictures of an actual installation on some ones L-4. My BC-659 will be gutted before it is installed to minimize weight and I am thinking of making one of the Army field modified wooden cases for it to further lighten it up.

Did anyone replace the geenhouse plexi with lexan at the exit point of the AN-29. It seems that would be a better install as the lexan would offer considerably more strength than the plexi.

Thanks
Steve
