thanks phil, if this pictures attaches its the start of my j3 affare in 1948. its my dad and I and the pilot is a local vet who had flown the cub that I now own and then bought this one. I gave my dad a ride in 1976 and far as I know it was his first time in a plane. I still remember his expression when he turned around and looked at me when I cut the power to land. I have a few pictures of my two rebuilds and a great but somewhat sad story of the last one so stay tuned.
