I was researching a wing tank installation on my cub that occurred in 1952 and was later removed that used another aircrafts 337 as the approved data. Thinking I might use the original 337 to support a re-install I obtained the referenced aircrafts FAA records for the original 337. I found what I needed but looked at all the 337s. I was amazed to find this gun mount installation. Its a fixed mount that allows the pilot to aim a shotgun. It includes provisions to restrict the movement from accidentally firing into the prop. There was a modified airworthiness certificate that provide for necessary crew for eagle hunting. Sportsmanship has certainly changed since 1948. Maybe yall were aware of this but I never would have imagined a Cub gunship. Mark
