I have owned a 1947 J-3C65 (A-65 with 100 SMOH no float fittings) for many years. I would like to get back into float flying. The question, convert the J-3 to a TCM O-200A (I have a fresh OH sitting in hanger) or sell the J-3C as it is in very nice original condition and buy a Cub/PA-18 already on floats?? Would like every one opinions.
