Hi,
I've not been able to find a sport pilot examiner that is qualified in a tailwheel aircraft for the past 3 months. The closest Sport Pilot DPE is about 3.5hrs away south of Dallas. I may have to make a XC flight out there to do it. However, the local FSDO is willing to do the checkride, but they want to send 2 people: 1 for the oral and 1 for the flight test. In addition to that, they want to do a full airworthiness inspection of my Cub at a shop. I have nothing to hide and I've already had 2 IAs look my airplane over, but isn't this overkill for a checkride?

Anyone ever done the sport pilot checkride with a Cub? Thanks.
