Hi All! I'm currently in the process of having my 47 J-3 upgraded from the original A65-8 to a C85-12. My A&P asked me to see if I could track down the original Piper installation drawings for the C85, as it was an option on the 47 cub, therefore allowing him to do a factory installation. Unfortunately, I've had no luck thus far tracking down this info. Cub Club sent me all the 337's and drawings they had, none of which have the info I need. In addition to this, the Service Manual and Parts Manual on this site don't include the C-85, only the A65 and lower HP continental engines. If anyone has access to, or knows where I can find these documents I'd greatly appreciate it! I will also need an illustration of how to install the battery box, which I assume should be in the 47 parts and service manuals as well, but I'm also thinking I could find that info in a PA-11 manual. Again, any info/insight is greatly appreciated!
