Which material would be period correct for 1945 L-4 bungee covers? Leather or vinyl? My airplane currently has the metal bungee fairings. I actually found a picture dated 1944 that shows an L-4 with the same metal fairings and also a period add for "the L-4 Flying Jeep" that shows the same streamlined fairings!!!
