Hello guys,
I'm progressing on my effort resurect my J3C-65 heel brakes back from the dead. One of my brake pedals when pressed is returned by a spring apparently. The only place for such a spring I can figure out is within the associated master cylinder. First, I'd like to find out if I'm on the right tract as for the spring and where it it lives. Second, If I'm correct why would the spring be detached or broken and why, and third, can the spring (assuming I'm correct) be replaced without removing the master cylinder from the floor of the airplane.
