I've corresponded a couple of time with Todd peterson (Peterson Auto Fuel STC) about updating my STC paperwork to reflect a new registration number. I also asked about the legality of using high content ethanol fuel as it applies to the STC. I think JimC or John said this in an earlier post, but here's the quote;

"Only 1% ethanol is allowed but anywhere in the US that it’s used it’ll be at 10%, which is way too much. It doesn’t mean the STC is void, it means the gas doesn’t meet the requirement of the STC. So it all depends on where you live.

So before doing anything, make sure you can find ethanol free gasoline."

I haven't checked all the local pumps, but I haven't found anything close to ethanol free gas. Is there a certain petroleum distributor anyone's aware of that sells it?
