I was told my Cub had an auto fuel STC, but I can not find any documentation or proof of this STC. I also have the papers that the FAA has on file. I also went through the logbooks (maybe I missed it as there are 5 engine logs!) and didn't see anything mentioning the STC. I think it was in the 1980s that the FAA allowed the autofuel STC...unfortunately my 1980s entries in the engine logs are scarce...huge gap. I also thought only Peterson and EAA had autofuel STCs....so I'm confused as to why there's a placard on my Cub from Hartwig. Please see attached picture. Do I still need the STC documentation to be legal?
