I apoligize if this has been covered but I gave up trying to find it.
Replaced my bungees today and noticed something that I couldn't see in any of the videos I've watched. After installing the first one, I noticed that the outer braiding was loose. I figured that was normal since the cords are now stretched but I took a closer look at the old ones still on the other strut and couldn't find any loose braids. I'm hoping this is normal and they will settle back into position with time? Also, as many times as I told myself to pay attention to where the splice ended up, I managed to completely install the first one with the splice on the tube. Is this going to cause a problem??
