I do not have a full scale Cub but I am building one in 1/4 scale. I have been studying some pictures I have managed to get of the ailerons. I plan on modifying my kit to have the Frise style ailerons. owever, something is bothering me. It looks to me like when the aileron is deflected down that the cable going to the top of then aileron would rub against the leading edge of the aileron. Is this true? It would seem to be that this type of an arrangement would cause a wear problem pretty quickly.

Is this true or am I just misinterpreting the information that the photograph is trying to give me?

TIA,
Doug
