I need to replace my rudder cables and lift strut cables in my j-3. I know they can be ordered from Univair pre-made but how am I supposed to get them through the fuselage and fairleads. I guess it would be easier to order cable and make my own but I am not sure what size I should order. I guess nicopress sleeves are the way to go but are the "economy" tools sold at spruce good enough to do the job? I won't be doing this by myself I will have an a&p helping me but any tricks you can add would be great.
