I found a 1946 Cub built in Ponca City, OK. No Ponca City Cubs were built with wood spars but this aircraft has a wood spar. Looking at the logs indicates a major repair was made about 30 years ago. What does this do to the airplane's value? It looks great and flies great but I was bothered by the wrong spar so I passed on the purchase.
