Worn rudder arm (yoke to tailwheel) bushings

The bushings on my rudder arm are very worn, 80 years will do that to you? What have you guys done to replace worn bushings?

Also, how have you connected the springs to the rudder arm?

If you enlarge the photo shown in the Univair link you can see the bushings just peeking up over the end of the aluminum arms.
