Hello All,
My Cub (46 Metal spar J-3) has Wag Aero 12 gallon wing tanks in each wing and I am going to remove them and go back to the original setup. The main reason is weight... this cub is heavy... its covered with Razorback, which is adding to my dilema(s) of both weight and the removal of the tanks. The wing tanks are of course covered by the fabric. Razorback is no longer in existence, and patching into their fabric (fiberglass cloth) with some other type of fabric is not allowed under their STC. I would like to remove the tanks and cover the bay with aluminum. Has anyone out there covered their tank bays with aluminum, and is the 337 available for copy.
Thanks, Jim
