From what I understand about most small GA planes (C152, C172, Piper Warriors, Mooneys, Bonanzas...) the prop will windmill with engine failure. I also understand that on Cubs, the prop will typically stop when the engine fails. Why the difference ? The best glide speed of the 152 is 61kts as I recall, not that much slower than a Cub. Is the C-90 or A-65 that much different than the 0-200 ?

Am I correct that the prop of a Cub will generally stop ? Am I correct that the prop of a 152 will windmill ? Is it about speed ? Compression ?
