Yesterday Ben was flying the Breezy and threw a tip off on take-off !
Luckily he was only a few feet off the ground . The plane is at Bonham
Texas now if anyone is flying over that way stop and look at the damage.
I think holy pooh was mentioned ! Flying is fun and great until if ain't

The prop is old but seemed to be in good condition . Last year we
had the prop shortened and re-pitched with beautiful new leading
edges . The screw holes look like rot to me . Ben concluded the
same thing as well as my wife . She flies the plane a lot . I am glad
it happened now instead of the dozens of rides we have given to
Young Eagles and just about anyone who wants a ride . Sheesh I
cringe at the liability risk and yes we have insurance .

P.S. I would love to have those PA-12 wings on a new PA-12
frame . and having a pusher plane sucks imo . I like a frame
around my big butt . Notice we don't have the engine bolts
safety wired . a BIG no no with a pusher type plane . ask the
EZ boys about that one.
