Did the upper door hold open support change during production at some point? Most j3's I've seen have a hanger assy on the bottom of the wing. I've seen pictures on this site with a door having a prop rod on the aft vertical tube of the door.
I am in need of a door, and want one with the prop rod. Not sure when/if that was a change. I bought one door off of Barnstormers but it has no provisions for the hold open support. Any thoughts?
