This upcoming Spring will be the first full flying season my Cub has been flyable. I'm hoping to go to Lock Haven and perhaps Oshkosh. My plane doesn't have tie down rings.
I don't think I want to install the ones that attach to the struts and appear
that they can slide up or down. But I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts though.
I've seen the ones that install at the attach point of the strut to the wing.
May these be installed by a non A&P owner?
Can anyone recommend a source?
Thanks!
