I replaced my tailwheel with a new Maule and am having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to install the clips that attach to the rudder arm. They are the type that are bent in a curve at the top and have a "V" at the bottom on both ends. I can't get them through the hole on the rudder control arm. If I squeeze the "V" to get it through the hole it will break when trying to open back to its norman shape. Has anyone has this problem? It is the standard hardware with the compression springs that Maule supplies with their tailwheels.
