We really need seatbelts. We have a brand new set of TSO brand W seat belts and they suck. For right now I have installed Air Force belts, but they look so ratty I am embarrassed. The airframe will break before they do.

I have heard that the new Cub Crafters LSA has a really neat set. Anybody with any info? My preference runs to the military style, but my seatbelt maker moved to Arizona.

On Props, we just removed a metal prop and are running a 72GK48. Thinking of a new one - anybody running a W72GK44 on an 85? The engine is dramatically smoother, but loses climb performance with the 48" prop.

Back to the seatbelts - the brand W on the front seat was mounted on the outside, restricting the footwork of the rear pilot. Putting the brackets inboard cured a lot of problems. The military seatbelts have a "low" adjustment bar, which also can tangle feet, but the brand W and Rupert 3" style go so far the other way that a skinny guy cannot be secured. If I find a decent, inexpensive source for these I will let you know.
