Yep. Do a wing or two just about every decade - have to have the seine knot picture in front of me for the first two ribs. As usual, the first two were incorrect, and I pulled them out and started over.

But here's a question: a lot of really good restorers are bringing the cord inside the wing - and don't tell me they are tying knots inside. Anybody got a clue as to how to do a seine knot while running the cord inside?

I am actually quite good at spacial visualization - once I get the seine knot down cold I really can stitch fast. Tomorrow I will "time" a 3 1/2" spaced rib.
