Replacing Trim Cable

The last time I went flying my trim handle bound up. After landing and a quick investigation I found the trim cable frayed (see the attached images).

I’ve read previous post on replacing trim cables and Clyde Smith’s Cub Clues article.

That being said does anyone have any additional advice on replacing a trim cable?
