I ordered 2 replacements from Spruce. I figured it's time to replace the old ones before I have a crack / leak on the new floorboards.

The replacement ones don't have the pressed ring on the inside that the old ones do. Does this happen from the pressure in the cylinder, or did I buy the wrong part?

I replaced a cracked one 5 months ago, but replaced it with a used one that a friend had, so to be fair I have never seen a new one.
