As mentioned earlier I'm in the market to buy a cub. Being an active duty Navy flyer anything military always catches my eye. that said, i ran across an L-4 up in TX that is for sale. The current owner has done a great job restoring it but truth be know its actually a J-3. Am i shooting myself in the foot for it future worth by purchasing a cub that has changed it identity? You all have talked me out of the Clip winged cubs for good reason and now I'm asking for some more opinions.

Thanks.
