Wayne Smith came by 7F7 yesterday looking for me. He heard I had an L-4B and wanted to see it. The airport manager called me to see if I was close to the airport, which I was so dropped in to visit. Wayne Smith is the owner of the L-4. Nice plane that he and another fellow bought and recovered. It has no military history because it was one of the fuselages that was in inventory when the contract was cancelled. It has the leveling points and other things that make it an L-4 fuselage. It does not matter whether it has military history as Wayne is proud of the plane and that is all that matters. He takes it to a lot of CAF airshows.

I am finding out that there are several flying L-4s in the Central TX area and several that are being restored.
