Does anyone know if early Cubs had flat Piper name plates, as opposed to the raised letter version
that Wag sells? My Cub is a '41 and the name plates are made from flat sheet and have been reused
since I can see the Piper lettering etched into the metal from weather expose in two orientations. If the
flat name plates are historically accurate, I might make some replicas. Are lettering stencils available?
