I am looking for any tips on how to paint the background area on the "PIPER" name plate that is located on the boot cowl. Is this area painted with a brush or sprayed?
From the pictures in the gallery, most have left the raised letters as unpainted aluminum and have painted the background area black. Additionally the edge which surrounds the entire nameplate is left in bare aluminum.
