Painting new struts with PPG polyurethane single stage enamel. Read the threads where some are saying paint them white first. Is that just for the fabric on the plane? The struts are primed from Univair. I did a test spray on a piece of aluminum I had sprayed polyfiber epoxy on, and it covered well. Tried to scratch it and it was extremely scratch resistant. Just can’t see that this would bleed through. This is not a show Cub, so don’t want to do any unnecessary painting. Opinions please.
