Here is the Problem: Oil is leaking out from around the Filler Cap, but the cap is not leaking but just below the cap is a joining of two metal parts and that is where the leak is coming from.

So now that I have located the leak, how do I fix it?

Just my guess, is that the Oil tank needs to be removed and this joint welded. But maybe there is an easier way? Normal J3 Continental Oil fill Spout.jpg
The part under the cap is welded on to the filler tube.jpg
