Oil Leaks

Here is the Problem: Oil is leaking out from around the Filler Cap, but the cap is not leaking but just below the cap is a joining of two metal parts and that is where the leak is coming from.

So now that I have located the leak, how do I fix it?

Just my guess, is that the Oil tank needs to be removed and this joint welded. But maybe there is an easier way?
