Hello all,

Here's the story:

I was talking to a friend of mine tonight that owns a Cessna 150. It has a 35 SMOH 0-200 on it. Long story short, the other week they were flying it and one of the impulse couplings on a BRAND NEW Slick mag blew up. The gears went down into the acc. case and tore everything up. Luckily, they got it back to the field. FAA investigated and Slick claims that they will pay for the repair.

The problem is that they don't know exactly where to look for the parts. It will probably need a new acc. case cover and oil pump for sure. Possibly more.

They cut the oil filter open and it was full of metal. The oil kidney was full too.

It looks like they are going to do another major, so a complete 0-200 might be in the cards too.

Any leads on parts would be helpful.

Thanks,
Erik
