Can someone send a photo of their throttle cable clamp closest to the carburetor? This is the clamp that attaches to the engine mount tube and has a clamp to secure the throttle cable sheathe. I've read the relevant threads, and it seems like people have used safety wire to prevent the cable from slipping through the clamp. I'd like to see a photo of this if anyone can do that. I would like to see what others have done.
After seeing how the cable slips through this clamp, even when it is fully tightened down, I believe we might have one more possibility as to the cause of our partial loss of power that resulted in the destruction of our L-4B 2 years ago. When we get done, that cable will not slip through that clamp.
We are days away from having it back in the air.
