Just a post to mark the event. NC88014 was a typical post war flight training Cub. Worked hard, but then disassembled and placed in storage in 1961. John Scott and partner David Brown purchased it in 2005 and cleared registration with the FAA and made some good progress. Work stalled and I bought the project in 2012. I was able to continue with it sharing my TEE hangar with my flying Cub NC98399, until 2017 . At that point I had to sell '399 to kentsantabarbara to make room to install the wings and continue work. The physical inspection, corrections, and paperwork with my IA has taken a year and a half ! (our schedules were difficult to mesh) . Now she is returned to service . This ground up restoration is within TCDS A-691, and AC43.13 ,and CAR4a, but there are 40 changes to the way Piper built them.
