Micro vg's

Has anybody added the vg set sold by Micro Aerodynamics Inc to a 65 hp J3? They advertise a stall speed of 23 mph on a J3 with the vg's. That has me intrigued from a safety as well as pure fun angle. I know many STOL airplanes use them but most also use more hp. I would be interested in any feedback from actual users before I commit to the $700 investment for my 65 hp Cub.
