I am thinking of sending my bendix mags in for overhaul . I have used
the search engine but I am asking today where is a good place to
send your bendix mags. I have one remanufactured with 225 hours.
My engine guy says leave it alone it cranks usually second hand flip.
I have a new carb and it runs great but the mags were rebuilt in
'99 who do you send your mags to ? I have one link to a company
on the NW coast .
we recently had our mags rebuilt by a retired AI on our Breezy and he kinda
pissed me off when he didn't change the points and condenser
charged us 900.00 bucks .........they run very well but ! ..?
I ain't gonna use him anymore . maybe the points were Ok but
we have owned the plane for 10 years .......I have put gears and
points and condenser myself . Seen like a no brainer to put new
points and condenser in ??? I had one old AI I grew up with
literally and he was the type that said if it runs good don't fart
with it ........my engine fin after new plugs and an overhaul of
the carb.....I used a carb shop at Love Field .
