I run Dash 12 engines. There are some dash 8 engines in the fleet.

Some parts books (Superior is one) list the 36066 gear for magnetos on the Dash 8 engines. So, question: is it legal to use that gear and a spacer on the Dash 8?

The proper gear is the 36067, which is thinner. Anybody know of a source for that gear? We need one. It is not marked, but it is simply a disc with two rectangular slots, and a machined steel bushing with a keyway. The 36066 is roughly the same, but instead of slots, it has kind of lips, allowing it to be extended further in to the case.

Thanks for your help. Bob
