The L4H is nearly done, and is coming along nicely thanks to some great friends and help from a lot of you here. I am trying to restore her as accurately as possible, with just a few exceptions (more gas, shoulder harnesses).

I have seen enough pictures of period L4's with nose art to convince myself that it wouldn't be totally wrong to do as such to mine. At the risk of being chastised by the purists, I have decided to share.

Since I knew I'd miss the bear on my tail, here is what we came up with.

All art credit goes to my great friend Kirsten, who is a wonderful artist with lots of military history in the family.

Now, I am trying to think as a 1944 infantry pilot/crew would in coming up with a name that would be appropriate to the period. I need help!

Does anyone have any ideas?

The winner gets, well, the name on my L4.

The list to far:

Combat Cub
War Cub
War Bear
Bis Später! (German for "see you later!")
William's Revenge (after Mr. Piper)
Bill's Revenge

Etc, etc...
