I have a pair of them in Cub Yellow here in South Africa that came with my J-5. I guess I'd sell them, but the shipping would be expensive and I'd want decent value for them. They are metal and look to be original.

Yeah, but look how much faster you go! Worth the ugliness.
We're talking fenders here, not wheel pants. But I agree both are ugly on a J3.

I do get tired of washing the bottom of the wings, struts and tail...any summer flight before mid-morning on my grass is a heavy dew mess.

Could you email me photos? [email protected] I may have a way to get them with minimal shipping cost. I fly DHL freight and might be able to have one of our pilots pick them up.
Thanks, James Huddelston

I have a friend who has been looking for a set of that particular type. Please keep me in the loop if you are going to be making more.

The J4 pants have little steps on them. What happens if I put my 190 lb cowboy boot on that step?

It looks like someone made a video of a Piper Cub flying with the fenders on. I would be interested in either blue prints or purchasing a set if someone is making them.

This video shows one on a Piper Cub (see picture below)

This plane is at the Andover Flight Academy
