Is there something in the regulations that specifies what order the instruments have to be laid out on the instrument panel. I have a 46 J3 and I want to relocate my TAC to the far left side so I can eliminate the right angle drive. So I would have, from left to right, TAC, Airspeed Indicator, Compass, Altimeter, and Oil Temp/Pressure Indicator. This was the old setup prior to restoration. Thanks in advance for any help.
