Normally, I just say "I don't have my iPhone glasses on."
But this evening, surrounded by some fascinating folks, the guy on my left was like 100% into his phone. We were talking either DC-3 type ratings or maybe separation of powers, but at one point here comes the old iPhone being shoved into my face.
" Put that away! You are surrounded by truly interesting people."
I couldn't help it. I know it is intolerant, or even boorish - but jeez - don't shove those horrible things in my face. I will try to be more liberal about it - but come on . . .
