I haven't been able to find a Cub to fly in YEARS! The planes in which I learned to fly -- N92100 & N3215N are still based at Twin Oaks Airpark (T94) in San Antonio. Unfortunately I'm not still based there.
Clearly, Cubs have become collectors items instead of the work horses they were in the 50's & 60's. I don't blame you guys who are fortunate enough to own one for not wanting a bunch of wanna-be Cub drivers tearing them up. I just wish I knew where there might be one I could at least ride in that wasn't a half-day drive away.
Like someone said in another post -- flying a Cub like crack, once you get a "taste" you're hooked!
