Fuel Shutoff

My 40' cub has got an after-market fuel tank with the valve on the bottom. Is it possible to convert to the red pull knob assembly? I'd like to be able to shutoff the engine from the rear seat without turning the mags off.

If it's possbile, who sells the part and is it legal from a compliance with the original type certificate standpoint?
