FAA Policy 8100.19 Destroyed and Scrapped Aircraft

Well, in the middle of the night, the FAA instituted new POLICY on ensuring that “Destroyed and Scrapped” aircraft can not be rebuilt.

Because this is not a REGULATION, it was not put through the typical NPRM (Notice of Proposed Rule Making) which then allows comments from the public.

This POLICY is now in effect as of Oct 2018

Beware that your FSDO/CMO may already be aware of this Inspector Policy.
