I've been working on and upgrading my Cub this weekend(N33242' not the one I'm repairing to resell). Anyway, I'm in the process of installing grove disc brakes and no longer need the old expander tubes, backing plates, or brake drums. I don't want to toss them in the trash and I certinly dont need anymore useless parts piled up somewhere in the hanger where they will never be found again, lol. With all that said, here's my offer........FREE TO A GOOD HOME! The the left one doesnt work at all, the right one was still working a little(enough for run up with opposite rudder on grass). If there's someone out there who needs them or will repair/rebuild them that would be great. I really prefer not to give them to someone who is going to attempt to sell them on eBay or anywhere else trying to make a few bucks unless they have the ability to repair or overhaul them first, then I would be fine with that......I want to give them to someone who really wants to make them serviceable again whether it be for their own plane or to repair them to proper working order before they offer them for sale. Keep in mind the right one works, holds fluid, and has not had to be worked on for a while. The left hasn't worked in years. We tried to bleed it a couple times and it leaked pretty bad but not sure where t was leaking at. Lt me know if ya want them.
