Door handle Came off

I was putting my plane to bed and when I rotated the door knob to fasten the door, the handle came off. Unfortunately this happened after the door had already fastened shut. It was kind of comical because I was locked out of a plane that doesn't lock.

I called Earl who responded immediately, as usual, "thanks Earl!". Anyway - I got it opened. It sill fastens shut from the inside but it looks terrible from the outside. I can hardly bring myself to take it out and let people see. I'll have to leave it open!

Somewhere in all this there is an idea for how to make these planes "lockable" for those who care.
